I was on business travel by myself and just needed an affordable room with easy access to the Georgetown area. This hotel is conveniently next to a Metro bus stop and only a few blocks from the Dupont Metro station. There is a bar / comedy club in the hotel, but I did not get a chance to visit them.
On weekend nights, there is a crowd from the bar in the main entryway. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable, but it was VERY small, and was outdated. The elevator is a step back to the early 1900s and not for the faint of if heart or the claustrophobic. If you get the room for a good price, and you are traveling alone, and just need a room for a place to sleep, and you want to be in easy reach of the city, this hotel is an acceptable option. You won't love it, but it gets the job done.
