Waterloo stay
Great location. Overall nice stay. Very nice laundry room. Ironing board but no iron. 2 smoke detectors upstairs had no batteries. Futons not too comfortable to sleep on. Sink stopper in bathroom on first floor did not raise up very much so water did not readily drain. Nice place to sit outside back of house. Cute kitchen. Very narrow stairwell. I would definitely stay there again.

Great location
Cute house and place to stay to visit family in southern IL. Be careful of the very steep stairs and the step into downstairs. Good places to eat and breweries too.

Convenient place!
This is in a great area, walking distance to everything we wanted. A few disappointments: the mattress in the master bedroom is in very poor condition. The TV is difficult to figure out and not having live TV was an issue for us. (No way to track the storms and what was happening.). All in all this was a nice place to stay.

Relaxing and Charming
What a relaxing place in the middle of a charming town. I can see the appeal of living here. Thirty minutes from everything, with easy access to the highway. Our stay was lovely. The accommodations was exactly what we need for our few day getaway and reconnecting with family traveling from Germany. Everyone loved it here.

Very comfortable!
This house was perfect for our family of 6! It was very comfortable and had everything we needed. The location was great to visit family in the area but also to pop over to St. Louis too. We will be returning for future trips in the area!

Cute Little House in Downtown Waterloo
This is a cute remodel of a very old house. With that in mind it is a very steep narrow stairs to the second floor. The bathrooms were well done. The on street parking in front is convenient. It was perfect for us as we were able to bring our dog and we could walk him in the small backyard or down the street. The kitchen appliances that we used all worked fine. The TV service was Roku on the first floor and LG Internet on the second. Neither of those offer any live local TV for checking the weather and current news. The internet worked well. The big beds are only full size and you might want to bring foam pads for the beds upstairs as they are extremely firm. We were there for a family wedding and it was very convenient and nice to have more space than a hotel.
