“This was one of the best vacations our family had and it was majorly due to this property! The house was beautiful and had everything you could need. The loft upstairs was an absolute win for the kids. On the rainy day they all sat up there to play cards and our son thought it was so cool that he got to sleep up there! The garage had a ping pong table so when we weren't enjoying the firepit we would juat pop in the garage to play a match! One of the main reasons we choose this property was so……

“We really enjoyed our stay in Ulysses! The cabin was the perfect size for the 4 of us and the dog. The only (minor) downside was the proximity to U.S. 6. Sitting outside by the fire got a little noisy at times with the trucks going by, but we would definitely book this again!”

“This property was perfect for our visit back to Alfred. It’s very close to the village but far enough away that nighttime was quiet and peaceful, and the architecture of the space is one of a kind. Peter was a great host and I’d highly recommend this for anyone visiting Alfred.”

“Plumbing was a challenge because couldn’t wash dishes without boiling water and didn’t want to wash ourselves or brush our teeth with the smelly water. Also, the propane only lasted 2 days; was dead on 3rd day (probably because of boiling water). We enjoyed the solitude, even though the road noise is present. All in all it was a pleasant couple days as we lucked out with beautiful weather.”

“We only rented the cabin for the night and unfortunately we had bad weather luck of the draw haha but we still had an amazing time it was nice to get away from technology for a little while and just relax, beautiful cabin and property would definitely come again”

“The home is spacious & well laid out with tons inside and out to do. Our teens kept busy playing pool, using the paddle boat in the pond and running outside with dogs! Internet & smart TV’s were great. The house has several different hangout areas and was well appointed. A Christmas tree was purchased for the house to add a special perk for our vacation (thank you Dan!) Communication was absolutely fantastic with property contact! Although the weather was rainy and cloudy most of the time, it didn’t stop the kids from fishing and paddle boating in the pond every day.
