My own complaint is the booking is listed as a “private and peaceful stay” however while we were there about 6 side-by-sides drove up the private driveway and hung out for 30-40 minutes at the top of the hill. It wouldn’t have been a big deal if we would’ve had a heads up. We had dogs running around and a baby trying to sleep. In……

“We really enjoyed our stay in Ulysses! The cabin was the perfect size for the 4 of us and the dog. The only (minor) downside was the proximity to U.S. 6. Sitting outside by the fire got a little noisy at times with the trucks going by, but we would definitely book this again!”

“This property was described perfectly. Beautifully crafted and well maintained. One small hiccup with the coffee maker-be sure to look at the listing as it's a Keurig-my fault I only looked at the main list of amenities and we were prepared for brewing coffee. Great area to get out and hike the PA Grand Canyon, close to Wellsboro for exploring and other areas to explore. Or, you can relax at the property, have a fire in the evening and decompress. “Excellent Property. Excellent Logistics-very close to PA Grand Canyon and fishing Darling Run. Property was in excellent shape and offered the group the most relaxing and tranquil stay. Joe provided open communication throughout the process and was an excellent host! We have stayed in other lodges but the “Octagon” by far has been one of our best stays!!!”

“We really enjoyed our stay at the Wyoming. My teens really loved the cabin. We did have some issues with parking. The spaces are really small and our dually barely fit let alone being able to turn around. We also had to park up at the entrance one day due to someone parking on the lane.”

“My husband and I needed a place for one night near Wellsboro and found this place. Rough Cut Lodge was so nice. We stayed across the road from the main lodge area in a suite and loved it.Comfy king bed, kitchen area and sitting area were all great. Nice porch that you can watch for wildlife. So nice. I am glad I found this place and can't wait to come back!”

The loft upstairs was an absolute win for the kids. On the rainy day they all sat up there to play cards and our son thought it was so cool that he got to sleep up there!
