"My husband and I had the perfect weekend getaway at Kelly's beautiful lil cabin! It was clean and furnished with all the amenities we needed. The compost toilet was one of the cleanest I have ever seen and with beautiful decor and inspiring quotes. The location was perfect to get to hikes and sites we wanted to see and in the evening we came back to have a nice fire with warm showers in the morning :) Kelly was great with communication and we are eager to return again! "A small group of friends, myself, and my two dogs stayed here to watch the solar eclipse. The spacious backyard was the perfect place for eclipse viewing and the small town was close enough to Lake Placid for a morning shopping trip but far enough away to avoid the traffic. The house itself has GORGEOUS views, a relaxing hot tub (perfect for after a long hike), and a fully equipped kitchen. Overall it was the perfect home away from home to spend a long weekend."

"It was cold during our stay and being right on top of the water there was a very large temperature gradient from the floor to ceiling. We had an infant sleeping in a pack n play on the floor and so it was necessary to blow a fan and move the air. The temp at the floor on our baby monitor was reading 61 while the heat in the room was set to 77. So be aware if you have an infant. Additionally the floor was bowing and popping up in many places. Likely due to extreme temperature swings or humidity....
