“Rooms were adequate- very similar to travel lodges I would say but are very Clean and everything you need for a few days. We had a sea view , didnt use the pool or gym as we didnt have time as only stayed 2 nights Breakfast was great. Hot and cold buffet But what makes the Bay great is the staff - really lovely people Arklow is tiny so location is good Will stay again when visiting family”

“I loved the location being so close and convenient to hiking trails, lakes, Wicklow Gap, and close enough to shopping and other amenities. The staff was excellent! I appreciated the conversations, recommendations, and welcoming personalities. I didn't like that there was no outdoor seating near the water for a picnic, or just to enjoy being outdoors. The only outdoor seating was by the BBQ Cafe and posted signage that you can't use that seating unless buying from them. But what good is having……

“Highly recommend this lovely house for a family stay. We used this location as our home base, while seeing the sites in Galway, Belfast & Dublin. You'll definitely need a car to get around. Grocery stores, cafes & restaurants close by! We enjoyed several evenings sitting around a roaring fire on their roomy patio.”

“This was our first stop away from Dublin on our holiday. The owners, Dave and Laura were very welcoming. The room was very comfortable, bed a bit soft ( we love hard beds) but clean. Breakfast was delicious and delightfully they had beautiful Enya music playing while we ate. Their yard is delightful to see. Our only complaint, is that the house was cold upon arrival and was never warmed. Our room warmed very nicely. It was a dreary day. ”

“What a charming bed and breakfast! First the friendly staff makes you feel very welcomed to start. Then the clean comfortable spacious room and the lovely bed makes you feel home. And they immediately refresh you with some tea and cake soon after your arrival. The breakfast was lovely, and the swing on the front, the trail behind the house... All wonderful! I also ordered the picnic for the hike, and it had enough to feed four for just the two of us. I would definitely recommend.”

“We chose Fleur’s and Colin’s holiday home earlier this year, as my sister had wished for a visit to ireland as a gift for her 50th birthday. The pictures and reviews made the property our favorite and so we booked our stay in mid September. And what can we say.
