“Part of a longer stay, got two rooms as the daughter and husband had driven us down prior to cruise. Hotel is in the middle of changing owners and hence there was work to be done. First staff member as not so helpful as it was close to knocking off time but the replacement was very good. Room was comfortable and clean. Ate in Southampton so can't say if the food offerings were decent or not. Lifts weren't working which was a nuisance although they did say they would carry them up if needed. ”
