“It was rainy but so lovely. The place was perfect with such a wonderful location and beautiful view from screened in porch. The cabin is a bit old and the screened in porch was not cleaned. But really a great space and close the DC.”

Everything was perfect - the hot tub, the river access point, the fire pit(s). A dream come true. We will absolutely be back. “We really enjoyed the property. It was clean. Internet worked well. Washer and dryer was nice. Too cold to enjoy the hot tub for me. My suggestions are a new shower head, thank goodness I didn’t have to wash my hair. The flow is too spread out and not enough to efficiently rinse as you shower. Second is a cheaper Kcup machine would be nice. Traveling with ground coffee is not really ideal for a quick trip away. Third thing I suggest is two beach towels (minimum) for the use of the hot tub. “We truly enjoyed our stay here. It was exactly what we were looking for. Peaceful and beautiful view of the water that you can walk down to. Friendly neighbors. We did not use the kitchen. There is everything you'd need if you want to cook. Also a grill available outside. As others stated, very clean. Owners were super friendly and easy to communicate with. Thoughtful owners also had extras in case you forget something or two or three :-) Lots to do in the adjacent areas within a short drive.……

“This Coolfont cabin was the perfect weekend home for our family of four (and our dog). Friendly staff at the lodge welcomed us with giant smiles and answered all our of questions. The cabin was cozy and warm with ample space. Large, clean bathrooms. Especially loved the wood stove. We enjoyed the hiking and biking trails nearby, as well as the on-site restaurant, on-site pool and brew pub just across the street. Will definitely be back!”
