"The property was lovely with well furnished. Sadly the hot water in the shower wasn’t working despite reporting it after the first day. Cold showers aren’t very nice. When paying top price for accommodation the hot water should a given, essential part of the service. Plus the cleaners were knocking on the door before the allotted 10am check out!!"

"Very comfortable accommodation, five minutes from the centre of Bowness. Parking not provided but never had any trouble finding any very close by. Everything we needed for our short break, with the added bonus of two bathrooms, although the shower pressure not great but wasn’t a problem. Would definitely book again."

"We had a really good time at the Loft. Clear instructions, it's in great condition and plenty of space for 4 adults, 3 kids and 1 baby. Location was perfect, a 1 minute walk to the car park which was £21 for 3 days, right above a sweet shop which the kids loved, and no more than 5 minute walk from all of the pubs and restaurants in Bowness."

There was plenty of room in the bedroom for the travel cot we brought with us, and they provided a high chair on arrival. The apartment was also dog friendly so our little pooch was able enjoy the trip with us (at a cost of £25 per night). The welcome pack did mention there was a free bag of dog treats available for dogs, but we didn't actually receive any. The kitchen was well stocked and had everything...

"What more could you ask for than a property where the supermarket (and many eateries) are around the corner and the bus stop is opposite the front door. Rayrigg is perfectly located, with a bus every 20 mins to take you to the railway station (about a 10 minute walk) or to other towns in the District. Just note, if you are challenged by directions, Lake Windermere is in an area called Bowness, and about a 45 minute walk to Ellerthwaite Square. I had the top room, so plenty of stairs to climb,...
