We found it as it was described, the stairs to the upper apartment, indeed would not accommodate anyone with a handicap or very elderly. We enjoyed our stay visiting family and seeing sights in Chicago. Parking is a little tricky but our host was kind and a good communicator. We would definitely stay there again."

"A very comfortable two bedroom first floor house with a full kitchen and laundry facilities. The kitchen had everything you would want and we made use of making breakfast and lunches there while my daughters were at a music festival at SeekGeat stadium. It is very close to public transportation - about a block walk to the 307 bus line. The JewelOsco is right across the street which made for easy shopping. Just a short walk to Starbucks, Dunkin’ and restaurants made for a nice walk and beautiful...

Communication with the owner was convenient and responses were always fast. Also, the bed was sooo comfortable. I slept great. I would stay again if I’m ever in Illinois."

"I was slightly apprehensive about using a VRBO, but everything was wonderful. Location was close to where we wanted to be (Oak Park) and the unit was very clean and comfortable. The property owner was extremely responsive. I had a number of questions prior to arriviing which were answered promptly. Upon arrival, I had problems opening the door with a code (my fault) and the owner sent someone out immediately to assist. I forgot a hair dryer and one was furnished upon request. Very nice people...

"This apartment is on the 15th floor and has amazing views and a perfect location! Convenient to shops, bars, and restaurants and even includes a parking spot in the garage. There were a few hiccups during the stay but Dawn was very quick to fix them and was always available to help. The apartment is clean and nicely decorated and the bed was very comfortable. Ideal for one person or a couple. I stayed for 6 days and felt right at home. I would stay there again for sure!"

"VERY clean, location was perfect for our family as we wanted to experience using public transportation to get to downtown. 2 minute walk to the nearest bus stop and about 20 minute walk through very nice area to the train (we did both and you can take the bus to the train station too). Neighborhood is lovely. Owner is on site and available via text if there is an issue but there never was. Unit is completely separate from rest of house. We were very pleased."
