“My family and I (husband and two young kids, ages 10 and 7) took a recent trip to Lexington for the long holiday weekend. Not only was the cabin in an excellent location, but it was beautifully upkept and clean. Everything was exactly as described. Terry, our host, was one of the most kind and considerate hosts we have come across in our 4 yrs of vrbo traveling. “Everything was how I pictured it would be. The only negative would be that the stove wouldn’t work. I’m sure it was just the pilot light but I didn’t come prepared to light it. Bought a lighter and had to light the burners each time I used the stove. I did not know how to light pilot for oven. Would definitely recommend your cabins and I would stay again.”

“Rustic is the keyword. Uneven floor/foundation makes walking awkward, especially for older folks. But they have a very well stocked kitchen and lots of extras, including coffee pods for the Keurig! Washer and dryer is a great plus. A welcome manual would help with info about TV, hot water, beach parking and WIFI. A little TLC would go a long way to fix this place up but we had a good stay. Property owner is quick to respond.”

“We absolutely loved staying at this house! Friends and I stayed at Anna's property for a wedding happening in the area and it was absolutely perfect. Anna and Kevin's property was spacious, clean, and perfect for a weekend getaway. The house had everything we needed to hang out and even take a dip into the lake. Communicating with Anna and Kevin was so easy and I highly recommend staying here if you're coming to Lexington!”

“Being a first timer, It was much more than I expected. Everything was clean and comfortable. The cottage was bigger than what pictures showed. Hopefully will be back in the summer time. The fall colors were beautiful!”

“This is our second time staying at the cottages. Perfect location across from the beach, and park. Clean and comfortable. Lots of games for playing indoors when cool, and an outdoor fire pit , volleyball court and outdoor toys for playing outdoors. The host is very responsive, and super helpful. Perfect place whether visiting in the summer or Fall.”

“I brought my mom for a little getaway for Mothers Day! From the moment I walked in, it felt like home! From the bowl of snacks on the counter to the warm fireplace. Took many walks around the neighborhood and down to the water. The front porch was very relaxing from having coffee in the morning to a drink in the evening! Went to town a few times to shop! You will definitely enjoy your stay!”

“The cottage is an easy 5 minute walk to a private community beach on Lake Huron. On a holiday weekend, there was always plenty of room for us and everyone was friendly. The house was clean and quiet. Comfortable beds. Everything we needed in the well-appointed kitchen. Only two of us and a dog on this trip, but there was enough room for 4 to stay comfortably. Charcoal grill and firepit available for use. Diana was a great communicator.”

“A group of us stayed for 3 nights. The place is beautiful, the view is breathtaking and the location can't be beat. It was very clean and nicely appointed. I can't wait to return!”

“The cottage is adorable with beautiful lake view. The furniture is clean and in good condition. However appliances were not clean and refrigerator did'nt maintain proper cold temp. Host does provide smart a TV but does not provide cable or wifi. We were told not to use fireplace or access beach. Sunporch is not furnished as shown. Numerous ladybugs, dead and alive, especially in kitchen. We had a few other issues and decided to check out early and stay elsewhere.”

“It was right on the water, close to town and big enough for our whole family and very clean. However, there was not a bathroom on the main floor and there are a lot of stairs between the beach and the bathroom. Also, the rounded driveway was alittle cumbersome with several cars as someone always had to move their car to let the middle cars out.”

The owners were very communicative and helpful (in the event we needed anything). The view was lovely. We do wish the parking lot was more spacious. “Overall, this place was as advertised. I stayed with my husband, 14 month old child, my sister, and my parents. Check in was smooth, and communication was fast and easy when we needed to locate towels. We chose to stay at a VRBO instead of a hotel because we needed access to a kitchen for baby bottles and cooking in general. The kitchen was mostly well-appointed, but we had to borrow baking sheets from other family. Other guests left behind a ton of food in the pantry, most of it expired,……
