"We enjoyed our stay. A very quiet neighborhood among a string of super-exclusive stores. A one way street, so very little car traffic. Able to walk to a ton of restaurants, museums, the tram, and of course Vondel Park just a block away. A great escape from the bustle of downtown."

"I am beyond grateful for this stay! We stayed here as a family of 3 (two adults, 1 teen) for a long weekend getaway. I could not have picked a better option! The home is as described and very clean and comfortable. You enter up 3 flights of modern, comfortable stairs into a small vestibule shared with the hosts. From there, you enter through a locked door into a private hallway. Take the hallway to the right to find a large, comfortable bedroom and a clean and functional bathroom with laundry....

"This apartment is in a perfect location and the pictures are exactly what you get. There are 2 very large bedrooms with 2 good sized baths. We were greeted with a great bottle of wine, which was so appreciated after our long travels (Thank you Daan!) We had an issue with no hot water and a broken hair dryer (which we were alerted to by Daan). The hot water was fixed relatively quickly (needed a new part), and the hair dryer was replaced that same day. Later in our stay, the heat stopped...

"Cute little apartment right on a canal. Had outdoor seating and a trampoline. Five minute walk from train station in a quiet neighborhood. It is perfect for a couple with a kid. Neighborhood parks are a three minute walk away. Nice escape from the city but with the added perk of quick access to the city. "Mario was the best host; so easy to communicate with and genuinely kind. We appreciate his responsiveness and the laundry service. The apartment is large, comfortable for 6 people (we had 5). There is not a lift and the stairs can be challenging if you are above floor 2. The apartment is well stocked and furnished. Location is great; right in the heart of De Wallen. We would stay here again for sure. "
