“Owner messaged and told me check in was at 5:00. I informed her that my confirmation showed 4:00. I checked in early because I came from MD and owner charged me $50 to check in 1 1/2 hrs early at 2:30. Upon entering the home and returning to get 2nd bag I was met by a Dominion Electric employee who first asked if I was the owner and I explained to him I was the renter for 4 days. He told me he was there to shut off the electric for non payment. He also advised that this was the second extension……

“Cute little house, comfortable with character. It rained so we did not use the back porch fire pit area. Had a problem with the furnace, but the owner replied back and we were brought electric heaters (the furnace needed more repairs than could be done in a short period of time.) The only drawback was the view across the road. The neighborhood does not have curbside garbage pick up, so there was a dumpster across the street. Overall, it was a nice little house and I would stay there again.”

“Perfect place for girls trip. Hit up local wineries and Uber back safely to this house. Beds were firm, but I found them comfy!! We honestly didn’t really utilize the kitchen, so can’t speak to how well stocked the kitchen was. The house was clean and plenty of space for all 9 of us!! Was very easy to access. Close to grocery and ABC store and a few restaurants. Would definitely stay here again for a girl’s trip!!”

“My husband and I had a wonderfully relaxing stay at the Airstream at Lake Glen Haven. We thoroughly enjoyed cooking over the firepit, hiking atound the lake and soaking in the beautiful views. The Airstream was very well stocked and we had everything we needed. The shower was also surprisingly nice! We were able to meet the owners Ashleigh and Mike and they even brought us some fresh eggs from their chicken coop😊 Their goldendoodle, Mabel was also the perfect host and came to check on us……

“We stayed 2 nights in the Tugboat and it was the perfect escape. The lake and trails were amazing scenery for a relaxing weekend, and the closeness to Louisa/Charlottesville made it easy to make short trips to break up the day.”

“We enjoyed every minute of our stay. The house is beautiful and well maintained. The property was stunning and the horses were friendly. It’s a great place to stay with family (kids included). The chef’s kitchen is stocked with every kitchen cooking utensil you may need. The rooms are just as large as they look in the pictures, so there is plenty of space to spread out and unwind. The weather was a little chilly so we didn’t get to enjoy the outdoors nearly as much as we would have liked, but……

“This cute silo house was perfect! The location is quite serene and the private pool is beautifully done! I wish I had gone at a warmer time to have been able to swim, but it was just as easy to simply enjoy the peaceful sound of the waterfall while relaxing on the porch hammocks that overlook the pool. Everything was clean and exactly like the pictures show. I loved the proximity of the barn yard neighbors and would enjoy their company while I ate my breakfast on the side porch. Ashleigh and……
