"Lovely helpful, friendly staff. Some rooms have been modernised fairly recently, tho unfortunately not all, so can be rather underwhelming! A good central area to visit Paris from, and lots of restaurants close by with all sorts of food and again helpful staff!."

"Loved the area that the property was in; close to the metro and lots of shopping. I felt safe as a solo female traveler staying here. The place was clean but not spotless and a few things could use updating (shower and bathroom fixtures). "

"This was our second trip staying at Hotel Le Clos Medicis, a very nice hotel and a reasonable value in Paris. We enjoy the hotel and the area it is in, Luxembourg Gardens near the Odeon Theater. We will continue to stay here on future trips."

"The remarkable thing about our room in this hotel was how perfectly quiet it was, even though were many cafes and bars nearby. The beds were comfortable, and we were given the twin beds we asked for. The location was excellent for walking to many many important sites. My only criticism was being charged 20 euros for four small bags which they kept for us after we checked out. This was the first time I have ever encountered a charge for that service."

Every detail is looked after and they even left me a little hand written note and mini madeleine’s for snack. The room was so cute! The best wall paper. The communal area is absolutely stunning. "Nice location right across from university. There is a cafe right nextdoor and a little grocery store right around the corner. Two blocks to the lively areas of St Germain. 4-5 blocks to the river. My room was not fancy or huge but I have no complaints. The hotel has some old charm to it. The staff spoke English and were always around. Check in and check out were super easy. "
