“Gary is amazing and our kids loved the spa. The hot tub, fitness room with massage chair, pool and breakfast are incredible. The attention to detail at this place is wonderful. One of our best experiences traveling and staying all over the west coast from Alaska. If we come back down this way we will for sure be back. My only request is that they keep the hot tub, fitness, and spa area open until 11. ”

“Dirty and some flies in the room, there are hairs left on the bed and pillows,the wallpaper is broken, and homeless stayed at the hotel door who will ask you for money.”

“We loved the room and proximity to Old Eureka. It's unfortuneate Eureka has a fair amount of homeless individuals in the area.”

“Great historical hotel in downtown Eureka! Free parking right beside the hotel and homeless are everywhere! Nothing the hotel can do about it but I wasn’t aware of the abundance of the homeless. However, the hotel room so nice, comfortable beds, but you will hear everything outside. Great value and would stay here again! ”

“Older court style separated rooms but very well maintained. Gas, grocery and dining just across the street. The landscaping was very pretty and we used the gazebo just outside the room to relax with a glass of wine after a busy travel day. ”

“I wanted to take a bath so I got a couple of the Clorox wipes to wipe down the bath tub. The first swipe I did came up with debris and hair. It grossed me out, so I decided to take a shower. The water lapped at my ankles because there was so much hair clogging the drain!! Then I dropped something behind the nightstand and found tons of dust there. Looked clean, but was only clean in the middle. ”
