“Stop being pretentious and serve pints in the bar and not damned “schooners”. I don’t want a “schooner” I want a pint. Why management dictates this I have no idea. I would have stayed here many more times over the past years because of this. Otherwise excellent. Great breakfast nice room, good location. Would have been 5 stars but for this bit of management dictated nonsense. ”

“Check in was very simple and the receptionist was very friendly and informative. Reception area smelt do fresh and welcoming. Clean. Bedroom was ample for eat we required and the bed very comfortable. Breakfast was a little disappointing. Chef was very friendly although a little unsupported out front so lack of hot breakfast instantly available. Quality of the hot breakfast was not great. We would definitely stay again as the hotel is perfectly located for exploring Chester, but would……
