“Beautifully updated older building, well situated to our needs. ”

“I have reserved a room with private bathroom...It is supposed that it is an ensuite bathroom. Finally, it found that the toilet is in the room, but the bathroom is opened for public. It is a little shock. Luckily, the nice staff was willing to upgrade our room to REAL ensuite bathroom...”

“Quiet lovely place . Room was comfortable but we had twins beds funny , guess I pick it wrong on site . Older bedroom area but bath room was newly done . Clean and organized hotel set up . Bar and dining room was new area lovely and comfortable. Food for dinner and breakfast was great and well prepared. Buffet for breakfast with good options . Beautiful hotel surroundings mountain view was stunning and beach to walk on too . ”

“Last minute booking at the end of a 6 day break travelling the west of Scotland. A very beautiful and unique hotel in a fantastic location, quiet and overlooking the water, but only 10 mins drive to Oban centre. Fantastic help on arrival by the reception and senior staff/manager to arrange a room with a bath and also late dining as we had been delayed getting there. Lovely varied menu and extensive drinks list which contributed to a fabulous evening! Great option to use the private HotTub,……

“We weren’t actually able to stay here since they called to say they were renovating but they made sure that we had a great alternate arrangement and even got us a taxi to the other hotel. So for communication and service I would give them 5 stars. ”

“Be careful when accessing the property. The road is the queuing line for the ferry. If there's a line, check to see if ferry is present - as there may be vehicles coming off. If the ferry is not present, the right lane may be used to access the Corran Bunkhouse entrance.”
