“This is a really cool place. It seems that it was originally some kind of mansion, but restored into a hotel with modern amenities. There is also a shared, fully stocked kitchen. The owners are really nice and accommodating. We only stayed one night, but definitely worth a return trip. ”

“We are a group of octogenarians who travel several times a year to visit with friends or just to be together. This home was very welcoming with plenty of beds, three bathrooms, and an efficient kitchen with lots of plates and silverware so we didn’t have to do dishes every five minutes. Unlike many places I’ve stayed, they had well-sharpened knives for prep work. I was able to put a gourmet dinner on the table in fifteen minutes. The only thing missing (or maybe I couldn’t find it) was a broiler……

“Visiting our son at UC Davis, we came upon this hotel instead of the regular chain hotels that are near the campus. After walking in, we were immediately greeted by two individuals (one, a student at Davis! :) ) at the front desk who immediately helped us with our luggage and questions about parking. We had our dog with us, and the room was as well equipped for him as it was for us. We found Winters to be a warm and generous community, and this hotel was icing on the cake. ”

“Quiet hours weren’t enforced, which was disappointing as the quest across the hall had her music playing fairly loud from midnight until 8am. Also, the jacuzzi wasn’t working. ”
