“After a few years going backwards, it seems this hotel took a new air (management) and is going back on track. The location is ideal, yet, they have to do something with the car entrance. On weekends the small street leading to the hotel is used as a parking lot for the theater beside and the cable car facility. Thus, it's a battle to go in or out (taxis needed to get us down one block away). ”

It Doesn't Worth the Price
"In general, the rooms are lacking of maintenance: no stable hot water supply, tap water is milky, air-conditioner isn't functioning properly, the bed and pillows aren't comfortable, and the toilet has odors. But the location is very good, near the big shopping mall Dostyk Plaza. And the front desk staff is helping, willing to change room for us. But the staff doesn't know how to register our stay in Almaty with the Immigration authorities, when this is a must for every tourist staying more than 5 days in the country."
