“Perfect stay except for meal options . Not much choice of restaurant if any for a quiet meal. The Terrazza should not be closed when there is a party at the clubhouse! Beds not confortable at all. Pool water very cold.”

“The hotel is in a stunning location and provided an excellent base to explore the area around Vinuela. The reception staff were friendly and helpful, providing us with details of a local company who run mountain bike rides round the lake. The hotel itself was nice. The room was nicely decorated and comfortable but with limited sound insulation between the rooms, it wasn’t a quiet and relaxing space. Ear plugs were a must for getting to sleep before 1am. Breakfast was nice, with lots of choice.……

“Los Monteros is an older style 5 star Hotel, it originally dates from 1963. There are parts which could do with a refresh, but it has a certain mid century charm that I like and the staff and service are excellent. The breakfast is good too. Our room dated from about 2002, but was still very clean and spacious. The beach club which is separate from the Hotel was a bit of a dissapointment, and all at extra cost, pretentious, but without the service to match and all seems a bit of a rip off when……

“Whilst we had a very nice holiday here we were disappointed to find that there was no communal bar/lounge area nor a permanently established indoor restaurant (the indoor part was the breakfast room; the dining restaurant was entirely outdoor either in gardens or by the pool with no option to dine inside). On the one cool and cloudy day - too chilly to be outside - there was nowhere warm and communal to lounge around or get drinks. You had to be either outside by the pool or in your room. ……

“We are a group of 5 ladies staying in this Superior 3-bedroom 4-bathroom Penthouse apartment for 2 nights in end Nov 2016. All bedrooms are ensuite with 1 extra guest bathroom. 1. This penthouse apartment is on the third floor in the Barcelona Block, which is spacious & bright with a private balcony & larger pool view. Access card was needed to operate the elevator and security seemed to be ensured. 2. The apartment has simple decor, clean and well maintained, though is not recently……

“Staff were very friendly. Hotel pool was absolutely delightful. Room was lovely and well sound proofed. WiFi works flawlessly. Food was ok, very bland and not much variety but cooked well and always hot. ”
