“We had a great time! The lake was beautiful and the house location is perfect for sitting on the dock to watch the sunset. We rented a jet ski from the owners and they delivered/ picked up right at the dock! The convenience was amazing. We were there to enjoy the water. Tubing, wakeboarding, jet ski, fishing! There was a school of sunfish living under the dock so the kids loved feeding them crumbs and watching them in the water. Also I must add that the house felt much bigger than the pictures……

The only things I would fault them on was that it was well stocked though there was no shampoo/soap for the showers. They may have mentioned that and we just missed it. “Karen's Kottage is Kute and Komfortable! Sweet, petite cottage with a retro feel throughout. The beds were very comfortable and we appreciated having fans in each bedroom for white noise. Everything was very clean and well-maintained. We were there in mid-September and the lake was very quiet as most summer traffic had died down already. Plenty of life jackets in a range of sizes as well as water toys and some water crafts to use. We had a bonfire one night and enjoyed coffee from the upper……

“Booked this short notice due to wanting a family vacation but older kids not wanting to be too far from home due to work. Cabin was perfect, 20 mins from home, clean, quiet grounds, nice lake with lots of structure for my fishermen. Cabin is older but very clean and nicely equipped. The pool on the grounds was clean and an easy alternative to the boat on the hot, hazy, last day of the stay. Overall a great weekend away!”

It had everything that we needed for our weekend stay; well stocked with kitchen items, towels, dvds, etc. It is a quiet setting with neighbors, but not too close and with no road access except for the private drive that brought us to our cabin, there is no traffic at all. Lovely, clear lake and it just was a really nice weekend.”
