“We had a wonderful two night stay at The Rex! I loved the stylish design aesthetic of the hotel and the attention to detail. We were there for the eclipse, and we appreciated that they left us a welcome gift with eclipse glasses and a cute little reusable tote. Each room has their own fire pit, and we made s’mores each night. We hiked allover Promised Land State Park which was accessible on-site at The Rex. We plan to go back! ”

“My family and I chose this place because we were visiting the nearby water park, Kalahari. The host was aware that we would be at a water park all day. After 7 hours of fun and wet heads we came to the house and it was 43 degrees. All thermostats were turned off. There was snow on the ground. I was really worried my children would get sick (ages 4 and 7). It took several hours for the house to heat up. The place was nice and so was the location, but I will not be returning due to the fact that……

“This place was just what we needed in terms of rooms to stay - the house was big enough for our group of 6 adults and 6 kids. The kitchen didn’t have everything we needed however, there are stores close enough to accommodate whatever we needed. The home is in relatively good shape - certainly lived in but nice features. The appliances in the kitchen were clutch when the oven was full. Overall, great stay!”
