“Beautiful rooms and bathrooms. Outstanding and accommodating staff. Fresh cookies at 8pm. Very cool speakeasy bar with hidden passage. Conveniently located. Only drawback was hearing the streetcar early in the morning”

However, upon checking into this hotel, the rooms were extremely old, the lighting was uncomfortable, giving the feeling of being in an operating room. The photos looked great, but the reality was vastly different, with worn-out sofas. Very disappointed. This hotel doesn't even come close to a 4-star standard, and staying here was very unpleasant. Eventually left a day early and switched to another hotel.”

“Overall I would highly recommend this establishment the only comment against them I can make was I had to ask maids for more towels and toiletries as the entire building was booked for Mardi Gras and while many stayed only a day or two keeping maids busy I was there a week great staff great hospitality great breakfast with nice rooftop bar really a memorable experience!!”
