“Overall the property was as advertised. Close to Smith Falls and Merrickville, it is situated on a small waterway that is peaceful and has seating on the dock. Price was fair for the accommodations. The icons on VRBO indicate that there are two showers but there is only one. The upstairs bathroom is a tub only. The kitchen was well stocked and had everything that we needed. We had a lovely stay.”

“We had an amazing weekend at the cottage! Its a quiet location, full of nature and activities to do (fishing, kayak, pedal boat). The house was spacious, comfortable and spotless on top of the amazing lake view you have right in front of you. Shane was also incredibly welcoming and helpful!”

“Our family trip was for a memorial. We needed a place to be together without being too cramped. This apartment was beautiful and clean. It was everything we had hoped for! Will definitely return!”

“The cottage and the area are lovely. Loved the hot tub and the dock. The cottage could use some maintenance though. Broken bed. I know you said that you have ordered a new one. Very uncomfortable mattresses. Broken microwave handle. Door off the sunroom sticks badly. If these were all fixed I would come back and / or recommend to friends.”

Shawn was an excellent tour guide and made our daughter’s birthday celebration a unique one. Inquiries and communication was clear with the host. The description and photos are also very accurate.
