“We loved our stay and would absolutely recommend Princes Point Villa! The location is perfect for an Isle of Skye road trip. The scenery is fantastic, with a sweeping view of the sea across a beautiful pasture. The apartment was clean and well appointed with a fabulous farm style kitchen. Tracy was warm and engaging and made us feel very welcome. Overall fantastic experience! Note that we booked through Expedia and some of the details/price were incorrectly listed. “Where do I start? I guess first, the location, at the very north of Skye. Peaceful, serene, evenings with nary a sound but the sheep bleating in the distance. Second, the lovely Lorraine, who left us a hand written note on our arrival and baked us shortbread cookies to start our full day on Skye (during which my daughter became engaged at Neist Point). Third, the lovely remodeled Croft house, perfectly appointed and perfect for our every need. A truly exceptional experience for us in every way.……

“We loved our stay at Ridge Edge Cottage! The neighbors (and their dog) were wonderful and it was so fun to live among the locals for a few nights. You have everything you need here including a washing machine (no dryer). The dishes were not all clean in the cabinet but that was an easy fix with the dish soap provided. It is quite far from Portree (45-60 minutes) but well worth the drive. ”

“We absolutely loved our visit to this lovely cottage. There was nothing lacking in terms of our comfort. All of the amenities were in place and it was so easy to become comfortable very quickly. The sheep on the property were simply darling and it was so fun to watch the lambs play, jump and run (within their fenced area) over our meals from the dining room. Plus, since we forgot a couple of items we drove to the local store, which is not far. This store was well stocked, so we didn't have……

“Eileen Isay was the perfect central location for us to explore Isle of Skye. Dunvegan Castle, Fairy Pools, prehistoric Brochs, hiking in the Cuillins and our favourite hike The Quiraing. Absolutely jaw dropping scenery and magic weather all week. The cottage was ideal for us, cosy, warm, very comfy bed and everything we needed. Every evening we sat by the bay window and watched the amazing sunsets, all of which made our Golden Anniversary a very memorable one. Thankyou Marion!”

“The cottage was very comfortable with everything we needed. The location was amazing with easy walking to village center. Great local craft show on Tuesdays, the Glendale Village Shop had wonderful local foods, and we could watch seals and otters along the coast of The Little Minch. Easy drives to many great sites on the isle. Great place to stay!”

“Quaint cottage directly on the Loch Bay. Clean and comfortable. Garden with seating and table. Stone beach with water access. Found many pieces of colorful pottery and glassware! There are two restaurants, one is Loch Bay which is Michelin awarded. Weeks wait to get a reservation. The other is Stein. Reservations suggested. No other food, so stop at a Co-O prior to arriving!”

“What a property! From the moment we pulled in, we were in awe of the scenic beauty, tasteful decor, well-designed floor plan, and unbelievable attention to detail the hosts provided. Being in a more remote location with young children, we cooked every meal in the house and found the kitchen had absolutely everything we needed. “This was my favorite place of our 3 week stay in Scotland, we loved it. The cottage was perfect, cozy, quiet and comfortable. We loved the area, easy to get into Portree or anywhere else we wanted. This would be one of my first picks to stay in again!”

“The recidense experience was far beyond my expectation. Room was very spacious with almost all necessary facility ready, wifi was superior unlike some other hotels in isle of skye. Moreover, the hotel has a unique view of sunset. Imagine how’s the feeling when u gasp a glass of whisky looking at the sun dips into the sea right out side the lounge. Food generally ok.”

“The hotel is kind of remote from the Main street of Portree; on the other hand, it’s very quiet and peaceful so that the visitors can fully enjoy the beauty of nature in Isle Skye. The room we stay is pretty simple but it’s clean and tidy. Most important of all, we have the great view of lake. Cloe, the front desk staff, shows her hospitality to make our stay even better.”
