"We very much enjoyed our evening here. Our budget friendly room was on the 3rd floor, but there was a small lift to help with luggage. Our room was lovely, although a bit warm, and the bathroom was large. We had nice reqding chairs and windows that overlooked part of the garden. Staff was lovely!"

"The apartment was beautiful!! Clean, decorated lovely and functional. The bathrobes provided were an extra nice. The location was just perfect. We went to breakfast about a quarter of a mile away. Quiet, tucked away by the Holyrood house gardens, it was the perfect place to stay."

"Beautiful old building. Great area. Rooms were quite nice and clean. Just no staff were ever present in our three night stay. An elderly couple who couldn’t speak English sat in the front lobby, often. I’m not sure if they worked there cleaning rooms or were a guest but if the worked there they made no attempt to communicate or help out, which was an issue because the front door to the building on a busy street was always left open"

However minor problems were apparent during the stay. There is no lift ( although the staff did assist happily ). "This property was wonderful. Directly on the Royal Mile. Large living area, well maintained, comfortable beds and amenities. Was a little difficult to locate. The gate to the property is in Bishops Close. The closest parking garage was about a 10 minute walk, so drop off luggage first! We used St. James Quarter garage. This was close to all sightseeing. Would definitely recommend!"

Room was downstairs so no windows, but was clean and a nice place to stay in. Private bathroom wasn’t en suite which wasn’t an issue, but I feel like this could have been made clearer when booking.
