“This was a fantastic spot to stay for the weekend. We hosted our engagement party on the property and it was such a success. The rec room area is very unique and the outside space gives guests a lot of places to spend time. It was nice to feel like we were in the woods despite being inside, with all the trees! I recommend bringing earplugs if you’re a light sleeper because it’s a semi-open floor plan :)”

“This house was perfect for our group. We especially enjoyed the large porch every morning with our coffee. The house was clean and had everything we needed. We have family in Apex and we attended an anniversary party at Fire Clay Cellars so it was a perfect location. The only suggestion I could make is to make the house numbers out at the road more visible. But it was an easy turn around once we missed it. Great house!”

“We had a fantastic stay! Erin was super communicative and we really appreciated that she turned the lights on for us as we arrived in the dark! The house was charming and comfortable and had everything we needed. The beds were comfortable and there were several pillow options to choose from. The kitchen was fully stocked with cookware. There was a great DVD collection as well as a library full of books. The house would not be suitable for anyone with mobility issues, as there are lots of level……

“We stayed during my daughters Masters Graduation from UNC. The host was very helpful with an early check in, we did have an issue with the AC system but the owners came out promptly and added portable AC unit until the part could be replaced. The location is amazing very secluded but close to Chapel Hill. We where lucky to be staying during the Northern Lights show, visible through the tree tops. The home was very well equipped. We cooked in the kitchen and had no issues with finding equipment……

“The room smelled very clean. I didn't like the curtains, they dont cover the window clearly. You can see into the room from the outside on the side that that allows the mirror to see you lying in the bed. ”
