“Overall the place was nice, the only downfalls were there was no AC which made the place hot, even with the windows open, and the complementary coffee/ creamer was expired. Also, they’ve updated the place so the pictures are semi accurate.”

“Place was beautiful. Rained the whole time but that was okay, too. Rock slide due to rain was a major hassle getting around. Owner was nice but a couple of snafus/issues could have made things even nicer. No directions on how to control thermostat. Couldn't get TV on for 24 hrs. which caused other problems but not owner's fault. Just wasted a lot of time trying to get things working. Felt safe & secure. Could have used more than 2 washcloths & 2 towels for 2 adults staying on ground floor for 3……

“We booked this beautiful cottage as a last minute, extended stay. It was extremely clean, well decorated, and felt like home. It is a vert short walk to the park with a great outdoor area, including pickleball courts. Everywhere in the neighborhood are areas with incredible views, but one of our favorites was right off the back deck! Our host was incredibly kind and helpful. If you are thinking of booking this house, just do it!”

“We were 3 childhood friends celebrating our birthdays. Sherry and Rick are top notch hosts. They excelled at communicating with us and went above and beyond to make our stay one to remember. They left us cookies, a Happy Birthday sign and a delicious birthday cake. They truly care about their renters. The cabin was clean and comfortable. The setting along the creek is so peaceful. “This property lived up to all of our expectations. Everything was clean, well stocked, and in working order. Just as advertised. Arriving at the home was curvy, but straight forward. There was plenty of privacy and parking areas. The views were spectacular. The house comes stocked with just about anything you could need and all the finishings are of very high quality. The beds were extremely comfortable and there was more seating than we knew what to do with. We especially enjoyed the 2 outdoor……

“Quiet, peaceful, clean, and cozy! If that sounds appealing, then you’ve found the right place. This cabin feels completely tucked away, but you are only a very short drive to all Boone has to offer. As some other commenters have mentioned, the driveway is a bit intimidating, but slow and steady will get you there without any issues. We will definitely book this cabin again for our next mountain getaway!”

“Loved the place. The apartment is great for a couple. The wood fire sauna and hot tub are a unique experience. We were glad we brought some firewood and would recommend picking up 6 or more bundles if you want to use all the amenities. The lake is small fresh water pond that’s perfect for a cold plunge. It was frozen but we broke through the ice. Lance is super helpful and has definitely put some love into making this one of our more memorable stays.”

“Good little place for a Boone getaway. Guest bed was represented as Queen, but is a double bed. Master Bath/Shower is a difficult entry/exit-kind of a safely issue. The place was excellent otherwise.”
