“One of the best rental houses our family has stayed in! Very spacious and well designed indoor space, very clean, and for my legally blind husband - the best lighting we’ve encountered! The kids enjoyed playing on the big lawn and walking along the river (except the flies!). It is a peaceful area outside town but we found great restaurants not too far away and we enjoyed seeing so many more stars at night. The WiFi was the only challenge - too slow for our teens or to load video but the signal……

“We had a relaxing and comfortable stay at the beautiful cabin on Otter Creek! We enjoyed campfires down by the water, hiked the nearby horse trails, and had dinner at the Pine Tree Inn. It was a very peaceful, comfortable weekend away - just what my husband and I needed. The cabin is adorable, in a fantastic location, kept in tip top condition, and had everything we needed to be comfortable. Thanks for a great visit! We would love to return.”

“It was perfect! We were all getting burnt out so a nice relaxing and peaceful get away tucked beneath the pines was what me, my husband, and my dog Lily needed. We invited our friends to stay with us for the night and they loved it, such a good time. The hosts really thought of everything you could possibly need to make you feel at home there and comfortable. The cabin itself was beautiful and perfectly decorated and very inviting also super clean which was a plus! Our dog Lily also felt really……

“My husband, daughter and I were heading to Sylvan Beach for a surprise birthday party for his grandma and needed a place to stay. This place was perfect. We had a five month old, the place was super clean. It was shockingly warm so we were able to walk to the Pancake House for breakfast and the beach to look at the lake. The hosts was very nice and property manager. If we need to come back for a family visit we will stay there or talk everyone into renting the bigger property.”

My husband and I traveled with our 6 month old baby and our friends who have an 18 month old to New York for the total eclipse, and this rental was a great home base for us during the trip. It had a great location and was only a short drive from Old Forge. The wood stove kept the cabin cozy at night and our hosts were so communicative and friendly. Would definitely recommend this place to other travelers looking for a rustic but cozy cabin experience.”

“We booked this property and filled each bed with friends to experience the eclipse. While the host couldn't control the weather, it ended up being the perfect location (and experience)! The house was just as described and the kitchen was fully stocked with every pan or utensil you could think of, which was helpful as we prepared each meal at the house (all ten of us fit around the table). Central location - we took a walk to the train depot, fire pit was used to cook lunch over, plenty of hot……

Spacious loft and apartment like lower level made room for everyone. We will be coming back next winter and will look into summer booking, too.”

“Clean, simple, exactly as advertised. Good communication with owners. Perfect for our 3 night stay, two families with four kids age 10-13 exploring Inlet, Old Forge, hiking at Bald Mtn, and Water Safari. Walkable to community beach. An upgrade from our days of basic cabins/camping at the Camping Resort. Bear walked through property on first morning as we were on deck having coffee, neighbors warned us as it headed our way. Basic cookware and amenities, nice to have grill, washer and dryer on……

“This cabin was beautiful; it had everything you could ever need. The back porch looked out on the yard and rapids. It was peaceful with plenty to do if you wanted-fishing, hiking, fire pit, grill. When it rained, we watched movies, played games and read inside. Town is 20 minutes away. We relaxed and recharged. Thank you Ralph for sharing your property!”

“Our stay was just what we hoped for!! Plenty of room for our large family. Loved the quiet secluded backyard. We lost power one night, Because of the weather. Owner checked in on us making sure we didn’t have any issues. Owner also was very accommodating letting us in a little early. We had everything we needed for a weeks long stay. Will be back.”
