“River View is a small resort which offers sn all inclusive experience. The rooms are clean, modern and very spacious. The staff are so friendly and welcoming and the food is delicious. There are cooked options for breakfast, a complimentary serve yourself lunch as dinner with two main options. On one of our nights we had a barbeque. They have their own arranged boat safari in the afternoon and early morning game drives. I would definitely recommend River View in Kasane.”

“The place falls apart the pool is rotting the Aircon TV fridge not working no kettle in room. Bar and dining non existence. Bathroom no plugs in drain. Mosquitoes eat you up as you have to open windows as AC not working! Sorry but what they advertise and what you get differs worlds apart. ”

We booked it a day before, came to the place, and it turned out there was no electricity in all place and there was a big malfunction not possible to be repaired this day so we were refused to stay. These things happen so I was ok with it and we went to another place and I’ve got the message from the Gweta lodge that they will ask Expedia to refund us as it was obviously their fault. Food was excellent. Game drivers: Lesh and Jinx went above and beyond to try to meet our every request. We were lucky enough to see nearly every type of animal in the park. Highly recommend this place. ”

“The Island Safari Lodge is a great option for those staying in Maun to explore the Okavango Delta, Chiefs Island, and Morami. The property is massive with extensive walking trails and wildlife. The entire property is also walled and gated so you won’t encounter dangerous animals. The lodging is a bit dated so think of a higher end cabin experience as opposed to a hotel. The best sunset is from the pool deck...at night we were visited by herds of elephants and hippo and it is just magical to watch them so close. The food....oh the food....it was incredible!
