“Our stay was good, that being said. It’s listed as being secluded and private. It’s far from private and only secluded because of the location. The need to list that the hot tub is not private and it is not next to the house.. it’s across the muddy pine needle filed parking area and down a muddy trail. The hot tub is a great feature, but if your looking for seclusion and privacy.. this may not be the place for you. The house has a spa bathtub, that would be great if the neighbors construction……

“This is a small cabin on Mt Hood. It was clean and well stocked. It is very simple. The bed was comfortable. We had a difficult time figuring out how to get the heat on and there wasn't any instructions. There is a wood stove but there was not any kindling, only large pieces of wood. There was lighter fluid next to the wood but we decided that seemed unsafe. The hot tub was old and smelled a little funky but it was hot and we enjoyed it. “I loved this little cabin for the super convenient access to timberline. 25 minutes away. It's also close to some great hikes and hot springs! The cabin itself was very cozy and had everything you could need, besides food and water. Plenty of blankets and pillows, all kitchen appliances work. The bed was comfortable! “This is cute little cabin in the pretty Oregon backdrop. It is accurate in it's description. My girlfriend and I stayed for four days and enjoyed every bit. We did run into a few issues easily overcome, the back room breaker tripped due to the loading from heaters and lights being on at night. The electric fireplace did not want to work with us so we used the wood stove instead. There was plenty of wood, just needed kindling to get it started. “Excellent, but just need some things fixed or replaced however. The bottom of the dishwasher is clogged thus the dishes do not come out clean. The hand held can opener and food processor do not work, need new table tennis paddles and darts Very comfortable, we had a great time there in spite of the rain.”

“Excellent accommodations. Loved the rustic charm, spaciousness and the working fireplace. Especially loved the hot tub overlooking the river and all the towels that were provided. Only negatives were the grill needs work as it doesn’t heat up and the cleaning people arrived before check out - which felt very rushed. Despite that - would stay again for sure.”

As other reviews mention, the upper level and bedroom have a very low ceiling, which isn’t the most comfortable for getting in and out, but this didn’t detract from our stay at all.
