“This rental was lovely. Comfortable, extremely clean, surprisingly well-stocked. But even as lovely as it was, it couldn't hold a candle to how great the host was. Extremely welcoming and responsive. The information for just about any question you can think of is neatly spelled out in a binder and some helpful (and a bit funny) signs around the house. How sweet was that? If you choose to stay on the eastern side of Glacier, we highly recommend……

“Quiet cabin right on Route 2 between West and East Glacier. Nicely secluded from the crowds inside the park. Loved the decor and amenities! I was concerned that the trains or road noise would be too loud but this was entirely untrue. The trains were charming and the road noise was negligible. I’d love to stay here again in a future visit to the park”

“The Elk Willows is a nicely furnished, clean and dramatically-located lodging with incredible views in three directions, including S over Glacier National Park. The Paul Ranch is fairly isolated from basic necessities such as groceries (especially organic) and gas for your car. $5.25 per gallon at the one gas station within 40 miles. Nevertheless, the setting of Elk Willows and the proximity to the 3 E side entrances to Glacier National Park makes staying here a no brainer, at least for us. Not……

“First, this house was in a great spot. Its about mid way between the esat and west entrances to the park and since we wanted to explore the whole area we could easily head out in different directions. There was plenty of seating in the house, the kitchen was fairly well equipped. The town itself is tiny…a couple of shops, a general store type place, and a couple of restaurants. Nothing fancy, not lots of variety, but all the basics.”
