“We were delighted to pull into a beautiful working horse farm at the edge of town. It's quiet at night, and dark enough to get a beautiful view of the stars. Super friendly cats! The unit is clean, has everything we needed to cook up a breakfast, and offerred a nice place to rest in between wine tastings. We were lucky enough to see a SpaceX rocket launch from Vandenburg AFB. The hosts are very nice and accommodating. A grocery store/deli is literally a 2 block walk away. We all agreed we would……

“Such a great experience. The property manager/owners were so friendly and accomodating. The interaction with the animals was truly a highlight. The house was set up perfect for the 6 people we had. Beds and couch were comfortable and clean. The whole house was well kept, updated, and clean as well. We will definitely be back!”

“If you don't like animals you won't like it here. The views were great, watching the full moon set out of the big windows and then the sun come up through the kitchen window was neat. My only real complaint is the bathroom was made for shorter people it seems. Short shower head and curtain and the vanity mirror is really low but overall just a minor inconvenience.”

The property was clean and was very well appointed with plenty of dishes and utensils for a large group preparing Thanksgiving feast. We had one hiccup beyond the owners control when the power was turned off by PGE on Thanksgiving. But immediately the owner provided a generator and were ready if the power did return. “To start, check-in was easy and we were welcomed by notes, information and brochures about local eateries and entertainment provided by the host. The place had privacy from the main house and backyard that made the stay more comfortable than it already was based on its cleanliness and amenities. The kitchen is stocked with great basics for cooking and seating to eat inside or outside on the front patio. “We had a wonderful stay celebrating a family member's 30th birthday. The house had everything we needed on a rainy weekend - cozy sofa, game room, well-equipped kitchen and incredible views. It is close enough to wineries and the cute towns of Los Olivos, Santa Ynez and Solvang while still feeling like you are out in the countryside. The beds were comfy and the entire house was spotless.
