“We stayed for two weeks in February at this property. The communication with the owner (Juliana) and property caretaker (Anna) was top-rate for the entire stay. It is hard to find photos to do justice to the view. It is simply divine at any time of day. There are birds, birds and more birds of all types. Howling monkeys close by. Pleasant walking along the road that works its way along the high ridges. The house is fully outfitted and has everything a person could need for their stay. Others……

“We had a little taste of Paradise while living at Villa Cascada. If you love nature, it is the place to stay. We woke up almost every morning to the sounds of the howler monkeys, we even saw them in a nearby tree. You are surrounded by the jungle and all its sounds and aromas. We saw lots of toucans, butterflies, birds, bats, coatis. The views are amazing. The road to the villa was scary the first time, but David waited for us on the main road and led us to the villa. You definitely need a 4x4,……

“Villa Paraiso is a beautiful well appointed home. The view is absolutely stunning. If you are looking for a place to relax and and enjoy everything this part of Costa Rica has to offer you won't find anything better. The Owners were great hosts and stayed in close contact throughout our stay. The drive up to the house from the highway is an easy one with the first portion of the road freshly paved.”

“Quaint cabin (make sure you have the correct GPS coordinates, because there are two by the same name – we were made aware of the correct location AFTER we booked). Extremely remote! Challenges with check-in/meeting the care taker. Be advised, this cabin is located 10 minutes off a main road, up a very steep, bumpy, rocky, dusty incline – a 4x4 is absolutely required and I would not advise attempting this in the rain! Bring all groceries and supplies PRIOR to check-in because the drive up and……

“Stay was great and villa was clean, inviting and well situated. Beautiful sunset views. Only issue to raise was with the gated security access which hopefully can be resolved for future guests by the estate management team… Despite this issue I would go back and recommend this villa without hesitation.”

“There is no air-conditioning which was covered in the rental guide book and it felt like renting from a computer. There was zero communication with property management. Which is why we couldn't watch tv during our stay. Other than that it was amazing. The road others call treacherous we found invigorating. The view, the pool the outdoor shower and the wildlife we saw was well worth the trip. We would consider renting here again if we could get a line of communication with property management.”

This property is unreal! There were 11 of us and we all had a very private room. The common areas are perfect for entertaining.
