“Very clean, comfy beds, beautifully decorated, with nice little coffee bar setup . My family and I enjoyed our stay and were centrally located near the Ark Encounter and Creation Museum as well as family nearby. Great place to stay! Will definitely return!”

“So happy we found this place! Brought a group of 12, It was perfect for us. The price was more affordable then many others we saw during our search. Host made everything a good experience! The house was set up so well. They really utilized the space well for groups. We were on the go a lot but loved the cute deck, game room, and open areas for being together. So many cool features. “The location was in a perfect spot and it was easy to get in and out of the neighborhood to go to all the places that we wanted to visit. The beds, pillows, and couches were very comfortable. We only had one significant complaint - it was unbearably hot upstairs. We couldn't get the thermostat downstairs under 80 degrees, and upstairs felt even hotter. I see comments from other reviews that we should understand "historic home" to mean that the temperature cannot really be controlled, which is……

“This is the perfect property between the Creation Museum and the Ark Encounter! The Lake house was definitely a nice suprise and better than expected! Everything is nicely updated and remodeled. The neighbors are very friendly. Dee was such a fantastic host and even gave my oldest son some pointers on fishing. When we arrived we found a specialized gift just for us! It was a much needed get a way and my kids said it was by far their favorite vacation place and we have been to a lot of places!……

“We were in town for Xavier's Graduation - kids, parents, grandparents - lots of space to hang out. Parking was a challenge - the space behind the house is good for smaller cars but was a little too tight for my full size Yukon. The owner was great to talk with. They even sent over new baking dishes/bowls for us during our stay. Very accommodating.”

“I usually walk into a VRBO and start cleaning, this place was immaculate!! I did not have to clean one thing! The kids had enough space and entertainment to keep them busy. It is an amazing space and we will stay again if we come back this way. We saw deer in the driveway and played games and really enjoyed the property. We left a special note and some inspirational rocks that we have been leaving from Louisiana to Kentucky…. 12 States in all! If you want peace and cleanliness with things to……

“Martha's place was everything we were hoping for and more😉. The yard was beautifully manicured with blooming flowers of all varieties. Martha greeted us with smiles and info when we arrived and assured us she would be around if we needed anything. We liked the fact that we were away from the busy traffic but close enough for shopping. Nice, clean and Homey.”

“This is a beautiful home in a quiet neighborhood. House had everything you need on hand. Perfect spot off the beaten path but close to all the activities you want. The hosts Emily and Scott were great, very helpful and welcoming and great communication. Would 100% stay here again if we make our way back up to the area.”

“The house was roomy and in a convenient location for our stay. Close to the highway and easy access to the local towns. Only complaint was there were minimal towels available and 1/2 bath had paper towel dispenser instead of towel bar for a hand towel, which was not the best to dry my face after nighttime washing. The thermostat automatically changed back to 63 every night, so had to keep an eye on that as it was quite chilly when we were there.”
