“Overall wonderful. Great location with some traffic noise from the freeway across the yard. Some foot traffic noise above us upstairs. Maybe slippers are in order to reduce the noise. Both times we stayed here the bathroom tub has a very slow drain. This time, the towels were rough, just in from hanging outdoors. Soft and cushy is best. We love the lighting in the yard and fairy light projection touch!”

“My friend & I fell in love at first sight with Mama Bear's cabin. Everything --all the lovely touches in decor, the sweet bears throughout, artful lamps & beautiful quilts --all of this shows so much care and loving attention. The setting is gorgeous. I loved looking out at the brilliant green pines with sunlight filtering through. “What a wonderful retreat. We were in town for a wedding and needed a place to stay. We had 5 adults with plenty of room to spare.”

“Nice home for a get-away to experience Nevada City, only a five-minute walk away from the fun and charming downtown. Quiet neighborhood, great for walks. A spacious fenced-in back yard too! The home is nice, with well-furnished rooms. The master suite is really spacious and the upstairs quarters are nicely situated with a cozy sitting area and TV in addition to the large bed and single bed with the trundle bed. The other room is fairly small, just enough to fit a bed for two. All with nice……

“The property is centrally located, easy walk to bars, restaurants and shopping. It was nicely decorated and spotless, perfect for what we were looking for. Worth noting that there is no dedicated parking spot and sometimes street parking can be a little hard to come by. Also, the unit is 3 floors, with the bathroom and kitchen on the 1st floor and the bedroom on the top floor. So just be prepared for that. Not a problem for us, but might be for less mobile renters. “We stayed first week of May, fabulous weather. Walked to dinner, shopping and the beautiful Deer Creek Trail. We loved the house. Three senior ladies. All had our own room with comfortable beds and lots of light. Lovey decor in each room. Owners have lovely taste. The curved stairs to the two upstairs bedrooms are a little tricky, but sturdy. We paid a visit to the Tulip Garden at Ananda Village and toured the North Star Historic House designed by famous architect Julia Morgan. Neveda City and……
