All of the blackout shades came in very handy for our baby and little ones who sleep better in darker rooms. The hot tub was magical and taking the kayaks out onto the water was so fun! Only recommendation would be to bring bug spray! Thanks for a wonderful stay. We would love to come back.”

“We had two families get away for my wife’s birthday. Four adults and three kids. The rooms were perfect sizes for our group. The kitchen was very well stocked for the various meals we prepared. The grounds were just perfect especially if you want a peaceful water setting to look at each day. The only possible complaint we had was the fact that the listing claimed there was a hot tub present, which was not the case. Otherwise, we’d definitely come back again!”

“We loved our stay here. To start, the host was very responsive and accommodating. Always asking us if we needed anything more. They had even preset crab traps waiting for us. We had better success with old fashioned hand lines but caught more than we could eat. The set up was very unique and I got lost for the first hour figuring out the rooms but my kids loved it and claimed the fun zone with the secret door leading up on one side. “We came together, 3 generations, to celebrate a birthday The house easily accommodated all of us, our 2 sons with their wives, children (2 each), and ourselves. We had plenty of space to find solitude and to be together. The extra large and spacious deck and generous living space made being together indoors and outside easy. “We were NOT able to stay at the Phillips Inn because Travelocity screwed up the reservation. Travelocity said the res was confirmed, no need to call the property. I called day before arrival and was told they could not honor the res due to the death of the owner May 22. I made the res May 25. On June 22 Travelocity still had no idea the owner was deceased or what the property was doing. Call Travelocity Customer Service, 2 hour wait to talk to CSR. Used callback option, got call about 3 1/2……
