“We stayed for two weeks in February at this property. The communication with the owner (Juliana) and property caretaker (Anna) was top-rate for the entire stay. “We had a little taste of Paradise while living at Villa Cascada. If you love nature, it is the place to stay. We woke up almost every morning to the sounds of the howler monkeys, we even saw them in a nearby tree. You are surrounded by the jungle and all its sounds and aromas. We saw lots of toucans, butterflies, birds, bats, coatis. The views are amazing. The road to the villa was scary the first time, but David waited for us on the main road and led us to the villa. If you are looking for a place to relax and and enjoy everything this part of Costa Rica has to offer you won't find anything better. “Quaint cabin (make sure you have the correct GPS coordinates, because there are two by the same name – we were made aware of the correct location AFTER we booked). Extremely remote! Challenges with check-in/meeting the care taker. Be advised, this cabin is located 10 minutes off a main road, up a very steep, bumpy, rocky, dusty incline – a 4x4 is absolutely required and I would not advise attempting this in the rain! “Firstly the support from Shannon and Ben was fantastic - even came and met us and guided us to the property. Cannot say enough positive things about this house! Appearance fantastic, amenities in the house were first class. I advise you book, stock up on provisions and enjoy the house and its surroundings! When you do venture out visit the amazing restaurant Exotica only a 10 min drive from the house. Enjoy a great coffee at Tagua Cafe, sit in the garden with the humming birds! Only negative……

“We really enjoyed our stay here. The pool was awesome and the WiFi worked well. We were given the wrong code to get in but luckily was able to connect to Wi-Fi and get the correct code after about 20 minutes. Very clean property and appreciated all the things like dishwasher soap and laundry soap.”

Our only complaint is the communication style and responsiveness of the property manager (who isn't the owner).
