“My husband, dog, and I got away for the weekend just a bit before beach season. We got lucky with great weather! Our favorite eats came from Seaworthy Kitchen & Bar (awesome mac & cheese) and Kate's Pancake house (Sweet Potato Bliss Pancakes omg). We spent a lot of time beaching at Freeman Park and walking the trails at Carolina Beach State Park. Everything seems very family and dog friendly in the area. Probably wouldn't have stayed here if we were traveling without our dog. Overall great place……

“We booked a stay for our honeymoon it was very nice. We did have to go out and get some hand soap as we were unable to locate it. It is very close to the beach so we were able to go several times and walk to the boardwalk. The outside patio was nice and we were able to enjoy breakfast on the outdoor table, the couch furniture was a little dirty so we did not use that. “The property was 1 minute walk to the beach. Plenty of food places nearby. We enjoyed the studio unit. Just right for the 3 day stay. Not busy at all...just right. Would stay here again.”

“We absolutely love the Crystal Blue cottage! My best friend and I have stayed here twice now and it will likely be our forever rental when we come down. It's been clean and easy to access, close to everywhere we want to be on CB and clear communication with the owners. I love that it's dog-friendly and not at all overly priced. “My fiancé and I recently came to town for a doctors appointment and were searching for a dog-friendly spot to crash with our two pups. The Sandcastle did not disappoint. Located in walking distance to great restaurants, shopping, and the beach, we really enjoyed our two night stay here. The outdoor patio area is really nice for sitting out in the sun for both humans and canine visitors. Our pups loved it. We stayed in the downstairs unit which is small but quaint and cozy with just enough room……

“Place was just a description on the site, so close to the beach and safe area was appreciated! Property manager, Dale was right on with communication and allowed an early check in 😉. We were happy with our choice and stay, kids loved how close the beach was as well as the boardwalk.”

“A TV and AC in everyroom and plenty of storage if you are into unpacking. Rooms where spacious and I was really superised how nice it was. I could live there and be a happy beach bum. One minute from the beach, fifteen (walking time for both) from the boardwalk which has some of the best donuts I have ever had, (cash only) Britts. Also the pizza, Frentoni's great NY style which we ate a few times during our stay. They have a by the slice window for when we were just walking around and playing at……

“It was a wonderful place, however carolina beach definitely over sells what they have to offer. I also felt very offended by the host of property. She texted me and basically accused us of leaving condo in an unsatisfactory condition, in whi h we left a day early because of a family emergency, and i did accident leave a pan in stove and microwave. But not one of us had gummy bears, moved any furniture. But she messaged me saying her house keeper cleaned unit for 7 hours which had to be a lie……
