"This is a beautiful beachfront resort. The view is amazing! If the ocean is rough or not your thing, the pool is also wonderful. It is a very busy place and we found the noise to be a bit much so be prepared for this. We had the buffet breakfast included in our package and the food was good with a nice selection however they tended to run out of items after 8:30 or so. "No complaints about the hotel, except English lacking. My complaint was that I booked an extra room for my fiance's parents. When we arrived, we told the desk that unfortunately her parents were ill and couldn't make it. We asked for a refund, and was told NO. We asked if we could have the credit applied to our meals, and they said NO. So, it was not a nice goodwill gesture on their part. For this reason, I would NOT recommend the hotel."

"We stayed for 2 nights and loved this hotel. The rooms were great and had the best Ocean view. Taking a ferry from the check in building to the hotel was an interesting experience. The hotel is huge with lots of dining options. We tried the dinner buffet one night, the service and food choice was really good. The next night we tried the ala la carte menu at a different restaurant. Both the times we found the food a bit bland but that’s probably because we are used to having spicier food on a daily basis. We took a day ferry from the hotel and all the arrangements were done very well from booking to car transfer to the boat, etc. The service by everyone was excellent! Will definitely return to this resort if I visit Ha Long again."
