“The hostess reached out well before our stay with check in details and other local information. We stayed in early May. The main house and cottage are located down a long drive. The cottage sits a little off to the side with the bedroom/office facing the river. The layout of the cottage is very efficient. We especially enjoyed the front mudroom and staging area perfect for storing muddy hiking boots and backpacks. Our week long state was magical. Coffee in the Adirondack chairs next to the river……

“Property is a convenient 5 minute walk to the heart of Warren Street. Home was as described - clean & cozy with a nice porch and ample parking for several cars. Only suggestion would be to trim the trees that block the view of the Hudson … if they are on the property. We visited in the Spring when the leaves were on the trees. The.view of the Hudson might be fine in Winter.”

“My partner and I absolutely loved Brook Cottage. The pictures in the listing are very accurate. From the moment we walked in we felt at home. The cottage is warm, cozy, and very clean. The location couldn’t be better- we’d walk to the market and bakery everyday. We enjoyed cooking more than going out. Judy and Chelsea were attentive and easy to communicate with. We were able to really unplug and slow down, we had an absolutely wonderful stay.”

“Our family of 3 had a fantastic time staying at Laurie’s cabin. It was clean, spacious, and the setting is gorgeous. Hanging around the fire pit was a definite highlight for us. The cottage is thoughtfully decorated (lots of hooks!) and had everything we needed for our stay. Laurie was a wonderful host, she went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed, had great recs for hikes and dining and even made sure we knew about a local fireworks show! We would definitely recommend this……

“The Catskill Nook is beautiful and cozy with all the ameneties on the inside. And on the outside it's just a short walk away from main street with shops, bars and restaurants. Owners have thought of everything, and communication was effortless and very welcoming.”

“Really big house with many add ons. Rooms are great. Bathroom is small and door doesn’t lock, otherwise everything is very clean.”

“Fine, elegant, house. A great departure from one’s daily life. Great layout but could use more lighting. There were old quirks about the house but it made it more unique. Some doors don’t shut and will rattle when windows are open. Could use a griddle or larger pans/more baking sheets. The property is gorgeous and the crisp air was refreshing. Lovely experience and would book again!”

“This property was wonderful. Easy to find, very clean and welcoming, and plenty of room to make yourself at home. The property owner was easy to reach as well. The only downside, although manageable, was the automatic lock on the door. The door sags and drags a touch and because of this the bolt becomes stuck in the lock and the mechanism cannot unlock the door. We found that lifting the door slightly after entering the code alleviated this problem. Still, this should be addressed by the……

“For a peaceful getaway this cottage will serve you well. It’s a long walk (15 min) to central Woodstock and also feels quiet and away from the hustle bustle. Fully equipped, cozy, quaint place. Perfect for - couple and a small pooch, if you have one. Easy communication with owners rep.”

“Dave's home is a wonderful property located in the center of Woodstock. Comfortable, clean with a wonderful fenced in yard that our dog loves. We have stayed here numerous times and continue to enjoy the wonderful feel of this home away from home! Love the wood burning fireplace on chilly and cold evenings. Beautiful yard! Quiet and relaxing! Very comfortable spaces in the home. Dave always responds within a very short period of time and is always helpful. Love the upgrades! We will definetly……

“This is a great place. The interior furnishings are welcoming and a cool retro style. The household goods are top notch. Super convenient for groceries, drug stores, restaurants. An easy hop to Albany. The fire pit is a nice place to relax. We'll return!”
