Staying in this property, your butler has already arranged everything and you do not think about anything about your stay. “The hotel is located up the hill, 4km hilly drive to the main road. Good thing is it's very secluded, all quiet and tranquil in the middle of some small villages and tea farms. Bad thing is you won't want to go out at all. The hotel is very vintage colonial stage, well pre-served from its tea factory days. When they knew I haven't have dinner yet, they (only the owner and a staff) insisted to make a dinner for me freshly. Although it took them quite a while, their passion and heart to service the guest were really great. I was travelling alone and they stayed until like 10 to make my dinner and waited until I finish before they go.”

“Overall，it was a terrible experience. We stayed there for just one night this time. When arriving with my friends at the hotel, a girl asked us to sit down at the lobby and wait for checking in. So we did. My understanding was that she would bring all the paper forms to us for filling in. Then she came and asked me to go to the counter, which is about 30 meters away from where we sit. “We stayed one night but wished for more. The rooms are lovely and very comfortable, large, high ceilinged, basically a series of duplex cabins arranged the central reception and dining facility. It's a thoughtfully designed property. The restaurant is open to the air and up on the second floor where it catches the breeze. From the restaurant are nice views of Sigiriya off in the distance. The food was excellent. The chef, who showed an owner's attention to detail, has a lovely manner. ……
