“I needed immediate help when the sat sav dumped me nearby & my host talked me all the way to the front door which was a huge relief. The accommodation is dated but I knew that from the photos it was very clean though & i was surprised to find all the essentials had ben left. I wasn’t expecting that so had brought it all with me. “The house is perfect for a getaway in the Weald. It was spotlessly clean. A nice welcome package with milk, cereal and tea made breakfast easy. Everything was in good nick. Recommend their pub The Kings Head in nearby Staplehurst. Also 50 minutes to London from there if you want no more beautiful countryside.”

“There was no clear communication on how to get into the property. I did ask 24 hours before arriving and it took multiple calls email and texts after we arrived to get a response. The stove top cooker needed to be repaired as it was not working, there was no hot water for the entire 5 days i was there and there is no clothes dryer. We searched the entire property inside and out. I did get a reimbursement for the inconvenience but it was still very disappointing.”

“This place is exactly as it’s described, the host is wonderful she answers any questions. The venue is spotlessly clean has an amazing hot tub and spa room with sauna they also do massages but sadly I didn’t get to try but if it’s anything like the venue it would have been amazing will definitely stay there again and will book in advanced for full spa treatment. 100% recommend”

“I recently stayed at this house with friends and family. In total, we were 8 adults and 7 children ranging from 1-15 years old. It is a very big and comfortable house. It is in need of some TLC, the decoration is old but that is shown in the photos and reflected in the price. The heated indoor pool was amazing and saved our holiday as it was raining most days we were there. There were also many inflatables in the pool which was a nice touch. “We had booked a boat on the Thames for my 50th birthday for bank holiday weekend.. two days before we were due to leave it was cancelled due to the rivers being on red alert. Having spent months planning it we didn’t know what to do instead. We feel incredibly lucky to have found Le Chateaux was available.
