“Fantastic apartment in a great location for visiting Chester. Parking is located a bit away from the property and can be a bit difficult to find but only a minor thing. Everything else was really good including the communications from the owner. Highly recommend. ”

“The apartment was in a lovely place with a view over the river Dee. Within walking distance of all the places we wanted to see. Also close to the hop on off bus. It was ideal for us as we were able to have 6 single beds which can be hard to find. The apartment was clean and well equipped. We all really enjoyed our relaxing stay”

“We all really enjoyed staying at the chapel penthouse for the weekend! Central location but on a quite road. Modernised in a simpathetic way. There was everything we needed and more. Including delicious lemon drizzle cake! The beds were oh so comfortable . Will return 🧡”

“The property was exceptionally well placed for visiting Chester, only a couple of minutes walk from the centre. The apartment was clean, warm and the beds were especially comfortable. Parking at the property was very accessible and for parking before check in and after checking out there are 2 cheap car parks (£1 per hour) a few metres away. The property would benefit from having a few coat hooks. Would definitely recommend.”

“Modern, comfortable apartment very close to attractions, restaurants and bars. City centre location. We parked the car and didn’t need it at all during our 2 night stay. Free parking available but late communication meant we paid for car park.”

“Location and Apartment were great. Very comfy and clean. FYI there are 26 steps to main sitting area that may be a problem for some. There is no washing machine. The TV is very temperamental and wifi viewing is on again, off again. Despite these miner issues, Overall a great stay.”

“Stayed for one night for a catch up with friends and a visit to Cheshire Oaks. Very well located to the outlet stores and also to the centre of Chester for food and drinks in the evening. The property was good value for a one night stay, not the comfiest place we've stayed but had everything we needed for the night. “The property was decorated to a high standard based on the area of Chester, located in a quiet area with own parking spot and an easy walk into Chester. I had to contact the owner prior to arriving and he couldnt have been more helpful and responsive. Chester is a beautiful area and i would definately stay at the Roman retreat when we return ”

“This small stylish apartment is almost unbeatably located and is comfortably appointed. We would have rated it 5 stars overall except for some mildly irritating features such as the bathroom lights operating on a movement detector switch. No one enjoys the lights going off while you’re having a shower at night. The hand basin was also too small. Storage in the kitchenette was also somewhat chaotic. Nevertheless we enjoyed our stay and these were minor matters.”

“Very tidy and clean apartment. Close to main shopping centre. A little noisy though as we were staying there on a Saturday. All the essential kitchen facilities available. Would have liked basic food items such as oil, vinegar, tea. and coffee facilties etc.”
