“The stay was really nice. We rented the cabin for my boyfriends birthday. It was a total of five of us. We had a nice quiet enjoyable time and the area is great. The cabins decor fit the setting great. I would love to go back and stay at the same cabin. We drove in from Illinois and honestly the drive to the cabin was beautiful, wouldn’t mind doing it again. “Had a wonderful time caught my first ever small mouth bass and I also caught my first ever Pike. My only small critic would be to rearrange theiving room..remove the rocker and put in a laz boy chair so that more than one person can d relax watching TV. My only other was you really need two ply toilet paper.”

“Overall the Beaver's Den was a nice destination for a get-away. Even though there are many houses around the Den, it was generally very quiet. Very much enjoyed watching the woodpeckers, blue jays and hummingbirds enjoying the bird feeders. Would definitely stay here again if it's available when I'm in the area. Tried to kayak on the Chippewa River but gave up. The river moves deceptively fast and with no experience kayaking and traveling alone I decided trying to kayak would be a very bad……

“This a beautiful house--super clean and filled with antiques. The sweetest couple own this Inn and they make your experience here so wonderful. Together they prepare a huge breakfast with many homemade items, and it was delicious. My room was lovely and the bed was very comfortable.”

“We booked this apartment for a girls night getaway. There were five of us. The apartment was decorated so attractive and inviting and very clean. Everything we needed was provided and more , down to coffee creamer in the refrigerator! It was in a great location downtown Clare, and in walking distance to shops and eating. Morgan was a delight to communicate with. We definitely would stay again.”

“We enjoyed our stay at the “Cabbage” for an extended weekend. The lake themed decor along with the functionality of items needed when staying away is great! It is so quiet and calm. We walked to the area where you can put kayaks into the lake. There were geese, ducks, and squirrels which made our dog happy. The General Store in the town of Lake is a must! You can find everything…fresh meat, produce, groceries, memorabilia, craft beers, wine…selection of all is amazing. The Pere Marquette walking……

“Great for families. Offered lots of amenities, paddle boat, kayaks, canoes, yard games, bonfire pit. My daughter gathered apples from apple tree and we made a pie. Fished off dock and lakeshore all week. My kids loved it. Quiet lake, felt private, not very busy, which was nice. Loved our stay.”

“Booked the King Jacuzzi. Everything was excellent, newly remodeled room, comfy bed, clean linens, clean room... Only real suggestion for improvement i can suggest is get the Jacuzzi a better jet system or motor or whatever makes the jets run. The jets were really weak, but still really pleased with everything overall.”
