“A hidden gem of the Kawarthas! Brett was an amazing host, very communicative with timely responses. There were many basic amenities in case you forget. Place was clean/tidy, and had lots to do! “We had a great stay at the Riverside cottage. The house was very clean and well kept. Bedding and towels provided and so much more. Quiet and peaceful mornings and at night. We enjoyed eating our meals on the the sheltered deck overlooking the river. A fun experience swimming, paddle boarding and kayaking. All gear was provided. A wonderful and memorable time spent with the family.”

“My wife and I booked this Cozy Rusty Cottage as our Christmas gifts to each other and had a lovely stay despite the rainy and warm weather. The hosts were very clear with communication and gave lots of instructions and rules regarding the visit. We enjoyed the hot tub, the view of the river in the backyard and the fireplace inside the cabin. It was very private, peaceful and romantic. We are interested in renting this cabin in the summer to take advantage of the water sports available!”

“It's a wonderful spot, and Stephanie & Dave were lovely hosts. While the common areas were shared, it never felt crowded in any way. There was plenty of space for winding down and enjoying the Balsam Lake. Everything was clean, and we were able to have everything we needed for a family getaway.”

“Really nice property located about 10 minutes outside of Fenelon Falls. Property has been beautifully updated and has all needed amenities. It’s a short walk from the lake at the end of the road. I did book thinking the property was directly on the lake but wasn’t overly disappointed that it was a backlot with slight slivers of lake view from the property in front. It’s a very nice quiet getaway location for a couple or small family. My daughter and I were looking to just relax and read and it……
