We invited our friends to stay with us for the night and they loved it, such a good time. “Rustic, authentic Adirondack Lake House with plenty of room for the family. Plenty of outdoor equipment including a great dock to fish off of. Indoors was cozy with plenty of warming options on chilly nights and rainy days. Kitchen was well equipped and very spacious. Multiple dining areas including a very nice sun porch. Would definitely recommend if you are looking for authentic lake house experience.”

“The place is nice, it reminds me of my grandmother's home. There are modern conveniences, but that’s the vibe. The stairs aren’t terrible, but a bit much. Apartment is on the third floor. There is a chair lift thing, but it only goes to the second floor. There are rails on both sides to hold on to from second to third floor; just on one side from first to second (chair lift). The lights in the stairwell are a bit quirky - they are motion sensitive and setting them and getting it “perfect “ is……

“Great property! Recent remodel on a quiet road with easy access to private dock 1/2 mile away on White Lake. Owners are very nice and accommodating! Communication was excellent! We really enjoyed our stay and will be back!”

“Very nice 3 bedroom rental with large living room, dining room and functional kitchen. Beds are very comfortable. Only improvements would be an additional bathroom and a safety bar in the bathroom tub. The price was very reasonable.”

“We've stayed here before and LOVED the screened in porch - this "cabin" is always accommodating and comfortable, very clean as well. We did run out of propane for the firepit, but did at least get to enjoy it for two nights - the beds are comfortable and the living room as well - kitchen well stocked. Close to everything - we will definitely be renting again.”

“The experience of watching the eclipse with my family out on the dock was awesome. We enjoyed taking the canoe out around Otter Lake and barbecuing in the yard. It was very relaxing. It was fun exploring the different areas around Forestport.”

The kitchen is completely furnished with everything you'll need, and the location provided us with a quiet getaway. Michelle is a wonderful host who was quick to respond to my questions. “One of the best rental houses our family has stayed in! Very spacious and well designed indoor space, very clean, and for my legally blind husband - the best lighting we’ve encountered! The kids enjoyed playing on the big lawn and walking along the river (except the flies!). It is a peaceful area outside town but we found great restaurants not too far away and we enjoyed seeing so many more stars at night. The WiFi was the only challenge - too slow for our teens or to load video but the signal……
