"I will start with the pros first because that list is short. It was a great location to venture to Calloway Gardens, LaGrange or Columbus. Other than that, the place was pretty disappointing. Issues...the first thing that hits you when you walk in the door is the smell of mold...like a musty basement smell. Not a nice cabin smell, but a musty, feel like you are going to get sick, smell. Initially the place looked clean, but when you started to really look around, the bathtub in the master was...

Perfect weekend to Celebrate Our Sister/Friend finishing up her Chemotherapy and Celebrating my Birthday Everyone had there own bed no reason to leave we had everything right there Home was just perfect and so close to Callaway Gardens Enjoyed every minute will stay again perfect place…"

"Our chalet was so cute and cozy! We had a wedding to attend at Callaway Gardens and this property was no more than 5 minutes from the Gardens. The staff were so kind and helpful, and the chalet itself was perfect. Especially with our three dogs! I would definitely recommend staying in any of the chalets on this property!"

"The property is super nice but the chalet we stayed in needs upgrading. It has lots of potential HOWEVER it is time for new carpet and fresh paint and decor. Stains allllll over the carpet. We did have a good time, however if I had a baby that was at the age of playing on the floor I wld have asked to be moved. The property is fun with plenty to do and great location."

"The cabin was cozy. I didn’t like having to check in and out at an office. I prefer a lock code or more flexibility with the checkin/out process (the office staff were extremely friendly and courteous) The cabin was clean, but every single one of the chalets we viewed had carpet in the bedrooms and it was old/ outdated. It would have felt cleaner with no carpet. Overall, we had a nice relaxing time and would like to return with our children."

"Let me start by saying we ended up leaving after the first night. We got there and didn’t have entry info, couldn’t get in touch with anyone, and the sister(?) from next door ended up coming over to help us. Upon entry the floor was tore up and there was roach poop in all of the appliances and cabinets. We found one bed with rat poop and pee under the blanket. It says private but it’s not. I reached out to ask about a refund as we didn’t stay and have heard nothing back. Over 1500 bucks we will...

"I love the location of this property on the lake. There is a swing below the deck that is the perfect place to have a morning cup of coffee. The office staff is friendly and very helpful with a full list of restaurants and things to do. Callaway Gardens is beautiful this time of year, and this chalet was perfect for our long weekend getaway!"

"My mother and kids stayed with me, plus my 2 dogs. We played games on the enclosed porch, which was my favorite place. The beds were comfortable. The Rec center, where we played pool and ping pong, is very close to the chalet, as is the playground. We enjoyed area attractions like Pumpkins at Callaway, Wild animal Safari, and horseback riding at FDR state park. The weather was perfect. The staff was pleasant and helpful. The towels are the sandpaper type that are super small, so bring your own...

"The house was perfect. We had a son graduating from Fort Moore, 15-20 minutes to front gate and also to the National Infantry Museum. Close to Columbus and shopping and food. Would strongly recommend this property and location for a stay"
