“The Claredon shows its age for sure but that is to be expected... however, it is in a fantastic location location ! It is very basic, but has everything you need. I would not recommend if you have a hard time with stairs as there is no lift. All in all..it was all good. ”

“Last minute booking at the end of a 6 day break travelling the west of Scotland. A very beautiful and unique hotel in a fantastic location, quiet and overlooking the water, but only 10 mins drive to Oban centre. Fantastic help on arrival by the reception and senior staff/manager to arrange a room with a bath and also late dining as we had been delayed getting there. Lovely varied menu and extensive drinks list which contributed to a fabulous evening! Great option to use the private HotTub,……

“The fridge had some fruit juice and milk for hot drinks which was lovely. Even though it wasn't a b and b, the owner had thoughtfully put some breakfast items in the room which we appreciated as we had to be in the queue for the ferry to Coll at 6.15am. ”
