“The cabin was very comfortable, clean and with all the necessary amenities. It is in a very peaceful, quiet location and perfectly located for visits to the islands, Glen Coe, Loch Awe etc etc. We had a wonderful stay and were blessed with amazing weather.”

“It was comfortable and clean. Big space for a large party. Beds were good with fresh white bedding. Large rooms. Lovely old original features. Breath taking views. Quiet places to walk. Plenty to do in the area. I would recommend. Some updating perhaps on bathrooms. But still doable. We will visit again ”

“This is an excellent house in a beautiful area. We had 15 guests ranging from 4 to 79 - the accommodation was perfect for all of our needs…it was warm, clean and comfortable. The hot tub was a particular highlight. Gillian was approachable and helpful if needed. We would not hesitate to recommend this property and the area.”

“Met all expectations. Unbeatable view. Great, enclosed area for dogs. Good quality (and number of) bathrooms. 3 in all. Hot tub was a bonus. Initially dubious all 6 of us (adults) would fit in comfortably - but we did! Wonderful find.”

“A lovely property backing on to the main road to Oban. Had everything we needed for a great extended family weekend. All enjoyed the fabulous hot tub and we made good use of the BBQ and fire pit table in the evenings. A couple of snags and Gillian got on to them straight away, thank you!”

“Had an amazing stay here. Highly recommend. You won’t be disappointed! Super clean, well equipped and very spacious. Host was very attentive and responsive to queries. The only thing I’d say (which isn’t even a negative) but didn’t impact negatively on our stay would be having it more secure to allow dogs to go out slide door within living room area to the back without worrying they’d wander off. Will definitely return. We had an amazing Christmas here and made wonderful memories.”

“Brilliant location, the cabin had everything required for a short stay, longer stay, if on your own or in a group, very well named being the cosy cabin, went there to relax and switch off for a bit and that's what i got, would recommend.”

“Overall a great spot and nice little apartment. My only suggestion is that the couch and bed need upgrading as they are important. Also the parking directions should simply state “park on the street or across the street”. We parked in the back, not seeing the parking sign that was leaned against the building behind a van hence in the morning we were met by a terse older Scot who was none too happy that we parked there unknowingly. There was also a green plastic glass that apparently was cracked……

“From the hot tub that was ready for us upon arrival, to the fireplace inside that was strike-a-match ready, our stay at the lakeside cottage was a very hospitable one and a great place from which to explore the larger area.”

“Our favourite place to visit is the argyll and bute area, coming from the central belt with an eye to moving further north we really appreciate having nature on your doorstep and as a result we fell in love with this place. The hosts are very helpful, giving us updates on the day of arrival was so appreciated. Perfect spot for kayaking, fishing and hiking with a lovely, well kept lodge to return to at the end of the day. We're already looking to go back!”

“The accommodation was to a high standard and very comfortable with stunning views. Lismore is a wonderful, tranquil island, rich in wildlife and beautiful scenery. Otters and seals spotted daily from the accommodation. Mother otter and pup seen at Point and Port Ramsay during the day. Loved watching the nesting birds and geese with small goslings. Hope to be back.”

“The cottage was clean, cozy, and much larger than I expected! It was in a fairly out of the way location (but not far at all from Oban) that was great for avoiding city traffic. Our host Maureen was very nice and friendly and If/when we travel back to Scotland, and plan on visiting Oban, we would happily stay here again.”

“The Croft house was an absolute dream. We had everything (and more) that we needed. Catherine is a wonderful host and was available for any questions and made sure we were not lacking for anything. The house is a beautiful setup and the surroundings are magnificent. We enjoyed the highland views, animals rotating on the properties and the beautiful mature garden, all while having comforts like plush towels, a blender, and WiFi (amongst other things). We lit fires on chilly nights and it was……
